A while back I did a quick post about the inspired use of Devotchka's "How It Ends" for the soundtrack of the new Gears of War commercial. The second commercial in the series used REM's "Mad World" as the soundtrack (another effective, poignant and generally awesome selection).
So I was pretty bummed to see it shamelessly recycled as the "poignant" soundtrack for the new Crazies movie trailer. Cause that's just so lame, dude. if you're going to rip-off the idea, at least go to the trouble of choosing another song.
