So I live in DUMBO Brooklyn, the graffiti capital of the world (no joke). Every major tagger posts here at one point or another, including top fame whores Shepard Fairey, BANKSY, Poster Boy, FAILE, etc. etc.
One of the guys whose work I see a lot is DAIN. His stuff is weird, but pretty cool. I've always assumed he was some young French dude (no idea why I thought that). Anywyay, turns out I was way wrong. DAIN's like a million years old (watch the vid) and he's still hitting it hard. The guy's my new hero. (DAIN photos are by Josh Derr) and most of this info was swiped over at dumbonyc.com.
