Happy New Year. I'm a principal at XXXXX Management. I read your script, Deep Woods, over the holiday, and thought it was really fun. Very strong writing and good characters – I really enjoyed it.
Unfortunately, the concept is a direct conflict of interest for me, as I recently sold a similar client project called XXXXX to Legendary Pictures – and that project is currently in pre-production at Paramount Vantage. So I wouldn’t be able to take on this particular concept. But I was wondering if you have another script I could check out – I’d love to read anything else from you.
